Cambridge English: KET is a basic level qualification that shows you can use English to communicate in simple situations. You can use it to: understand simple written English, communicate in
familiar situations, understand short notices and simple spoken directions.
Cambridge English: Key is set at Level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Reaching this level means you can:
- understand and use basic phrases and expressions
- introduce yourself and answer basic questions about your personal details
- interact with English speakers who talk slowly and clearly
- write short, simple notes.
It is respected and accepted internationally. It provides the most reliable reflection of your language skills, it covers all major varieties of English (e.g. British English, American English), it is designed to
be fair to users of all nationalities and linguistic backgrounds, it is supported by the largest research programme of its kind

What level is the exam? The exam focuses on Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, it shows you have an intermediate level of English.
What’s in the exam? The exam is designed to be fair to people of all nationalities and linguistic backgrounds and is supported by a dedicated research programme. It covers all 4 language skills
(Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking) and knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.
Reading and Writing: (1 hour 30 minutes) 50% of marks - Shows you understand written information, and use structure and vocabulary correctly.
Listening: (30 minutes)25% of marks - Shows you can understand a range of spoken materials, including everyday conversations.
Speaking: (10–12 minutes) 25% of marks - Shows how good your spoken English is in conversation. You take the test face to face with one or two other candidates.
Cambridge FCE exam: Shows you are ready for success in the real world. It uses real-life situations designed to help you communicate more effectively and learn the skills to take you to your next
level of success.

What level is the exam? The exam focuses on Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - Upper-intermediate level.
What’s in the exam? The exam is designed to be fair to people of all nationalities and linguistic backgrounds and is supported by a dedicated research programme. It covers all four language skills
(Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking) and knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.
Reading: (1 hour) 20% of total mark - Shows you can deal confidently with different types of text.
Writing: (1 hour 20 minutes) 20% - Shows you can write different text types, such as an essay, report or a letter.
Use of English: (45 minutes) 20% - Shows how well you can control your grammar and vocabulary.
Listening: (40 minutes) 20% - Shows you can follow a range of spoken materials, such as news and everyday conversations.
Speaking: (14 minutes) 20% - Shows you can communicate effectively in face-to-face situations. You take the test with one or two other candidates.
Cambridge CAE exam: One exam – endless opportunities. The CAE is a high quality, international English language qualification that you can use for your university and student visa application in the

What level is the exam? The CAE is C1 (IELTS 6.5 to 8.0) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the level required for academic and professional success.

Reading: (1 hour 15 minutes) 20% of total marks - Shows you can deal with different types of text.
Writing: (1 hour 30 minutes) 20% - Shows you can write a variety of text types, such as essays and proposals.
Use of English: (1 hour) 20% - lets you demonstrate your knowledge and control of grammar and vocabulary.
Listening: (40 minutes) 20% - Shows you can follow and understand a range of spoken materials.
Speaking: (15 minutes) 20% - Shows you can communicate in a real-life context. You take the test face-to-face with one or two other candidates
Cambridge CPE exam: Demonstrate exceptional English. You show the world that you have the English to study or work at the highest levels. It shows you can communicate with fluency and
sophistication like a native speaker.

(reading, writing, listening and speaking) and knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.

Reading and Use of English is worth 40% of the marks, and each of the other papers is worth 20%
